BLUES
A major influence was the discovery of Hot Tuna's first album "Live at the New-Orleans House", Berkeley 1969. I was about 16 years old
and it inspired me to play guitar and develop my own style of acoustic blues.
THE SHOW
I usually perform solo and sometimes with the aid of a few electronic devices. In order to fill out some of my blues or bluegrass numbers
I use a loop station live, in order to layer backing tracks to enable me to play guitar or harp choruses over the top.
I usually do a 2 hour show suitable to all venues. Duo and trio formations are also available.
BLUEGRASS
Bluegrass has always been a natural influence. Its Celtic roots seem to echo my own rural background.

OUTLAWS SONGS
|
I am particularly fond of outlaws songs with their doubful morality. A good example of this and one of my favorite numbers
is the Grateful Dead's version of "Me & My Uncle".

OWN COMPOSITIONS
My own style echoes that of such traditional songs, that tell of lawlesness, longing, and spiritual freedom, which inspired my own compositions :
"Lumière Libre", to name one of them.
BIOGRAPHY
For over twenty years now my steps have taken me across Scandinavia, Germany and France. Gigging in coffee shops, small clubs and also
providing support for such artists as : Jean-Jacques Milteau, Elliot Murphy and Poppah Chubby.
PROMOTING THE MUSIC
After three decades of studying American music styles and honing my techniques I actively try to promote this music by teaching others
to play guitar and by introducing them to the roots of American folk music.
